    Sanofi pays $600M upfront for Dren Bio’s bispecific in latest immunology play

     

    British investment firm SV Health Investors has secured $250 million to go toward the development of first-in-class therapeutics for dementia, the second such fund the venture capitalists have put together.

     

    Sibel Health, an award-winning medical technology company, is pleased to announce the closing of $30 million in new equity financing.

     

    Thena Capital, a UK-based early-stage medical technology investor, has launched its Fund I with a first close at £27m. The fund will invest across the UK early-stage MedTech landscape, backing founders in areas such as oncology, chronic conditions, cardiovascular, neurology, mental health, care service delivery, and women’s health.

     

    Black Diamond Therapeutics has found a partner for its deprioritized solid tumor candidate. Five months after cutting support for BDTX-4933, the biotech has licensed the RAF inhibitor to Servier for $70 million upfront and up to $710 million in milestones.

     

    Roche continues ADC dealmaking spree with $1B biobucks pact with Oxford BioTherapeutics

     

    Clinical trial tech company Clario has sealed its second acquisition in a week, doubling down further on neuroscience by picking up imaging specialist NeuroRx.

     

    University of Oxford spinout Brainomix Ltd has closed a £14m Series C round to advance its commercial expansion in the US. Funding will also support clinical uptake of its AI imaging technology in stroke and lung fibrosis.

     

    Sofinnova Partners has raised €165m within its biotech acceleration fund Biovelocita II that attracted investments fromBig Pharma including Amgen, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Pfizer Ventures.
