• Traditonal Recruitment

Often, it is almost expected that everyone involved in the recruitment process understands the full recruitment process. However, as we work with many start-ups and scale-up companies, or new members to the HR team, we thought it would be a good idea to lay out what is meant by traditional contingency recruitment.

  • 1

    Step 1

We take the brief from you, ideally with a job description, but we can work without this if it is a brand-new idea for a role and you want to see a wider range of candidates. During this process, we can provide market feedback so you know how likely it will be to find the person you are looking for.

  • 2

    Step 2

We search internal and external databases for candidates, reach out to them, and discuss your role with them.

  • 3

    Step 3

Advertise your roles in multiple ways on multiple job boards to attract active candidates from a few slightly different backgrounds, to give you the best options.

  • 4

    Step 4

Headhunt via our extensive network to find candidates who are not actively looking but are open to new roles.

  • 5

    Step 5

Narrow down candidates from the hundreds to a shortlist of those who are suitable for your role.

  • 6

    Step 6

Arrange interviews for your selected candidates, manage and prepare candidates for your interviews. Repeat this stage for as many stages as needed, including testing, telephone interviews, video interviews, presentation preparation, and face-to-face interview guidance.

  • 7

    Step 7

Obtain feedback, relaying both positive and constructive feedback.

  • 8

    Step 8

Facilitate the delivery of any offer to successful candidates. This is always worth delivering via an agency as it allows candidates the opportunity to ask questions they may not feel comfortable asking directly.

  • 9

    Step 9

Assist candidates in handing in their notice and arranging start dates. This includes discussing offer letters and contracts and arranging for signed copies to be returned promptly.

  • 10

    Step 10

Keep in contact with the candidate throughout their notice period until their start date, answering any questions that may arise.
